Thermodynamic properties of heat carrier fluids¶
- class PythonModel.fluids.ConstantPropertyWater¶
Bases:
object
Object for the evaluation of thermal properties of heat transfer fluid Water.
- get_Density(**kwargs)¶
Returns the density of water.
- Returns
Density of water at 20 C (kg/m3)
- Usage: Type
>>> flu = ConstantPropertyWater() >>> '%.2f' % flu.get_Density() '998.21'
- get_SpecificIsobaricHeatCapacity(**kwargs)¶
Returns the specific isobaric heat capacity of water.
- Returns
Specific isobaric heat capacity of water at 20 C (J/(kg.K))
- Usage: Type
>>> flu = ConstantPropertyWater() >>> '%.2f' % flu.get_SpecificIsobaricHeatCapacity() '4184.05'
- get_SpecificVolume(**kwargs)¶
Returns the specific volume of water.
- Returns
Specific volume of water at 20 C (m3/kg)
- Usage: Type
>>> flu = ConstantPropertyWater() >>> '%.8f' % flu.get_SpecificVolume() '0.00100180'
- modelicaModelPath()¶
Returns the full path to the water model in the Buildings library.
- Returns
Full path to the water model in the Buildings library.
Note
The minimum temperature is set to -50 C to avoid the Modelica model from failing.
- Usage: Type
>>> flu = ConstantPropertyWater() >>> flu.modelicaModelPath() 'Modelica.Media.Water.ConstantPropertyLiquidWater(T_min=223.15)'
